Local Color

So many times i am looking for subject matter from other places and i forget how beautiful things are within a short couple of miles from where i live. Sometimes this simplest of compositions and scenes can make the most peaceful of paintings. This piece was painted in an area of east county in San Diego on an old country road. the piece is 9 x 12 Oil and is available.

  1. You're so right Scott,I have come to the conclusion that its not what you paint but how you paint it.I've seen artists paint industrial landscapes and they are some of the most beautiful pieces of work i have ever seen.I've just seen your daisy painting on DPW and thought I would take a look.I must say I am impressed with your work.
